Audio Books and E-books

We currently offer approximately 30 titles on audio cassette as well as a rotating collection of titles on CD that come from Four County Library System every 3 months.

We particpate in the Four Countly Download Zone

You can use your library card to check out and download e-books and audio books online via the Download Zone. E-books can be read via most e-book readers with the exception of the Amazon Kindle. Audio books can be loaded onto your iPod, iPhone, or other mobile device capable of playing audio files. Most of the current title are in WMA-DRM format and cannot be played on Android devices or other devices incapable of playing DRM media. There are a few MP3 titles available that will work on these devices.

History Collection

The archivist is available Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM or by appointment.

Printing/Copies/Faxing

An HP Color LaserJet Printer and a black and white HP LaserJet printer are available for printing.

The color LaserJet creates both color and black and white copies.

If you have a fax you need to send but no fax machine come in and use ours.

Fees:

  • Black and white prints/copies: 20 cents each
  • Color prints/copies: 25 cents each
  • Faxes: 1 dollar each

Public Access Computers

We currently offer both Windows and Apple computers for public use:

  • Read your web email (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc..)
  • Create documents, spreadsheets, or presentations with MS Office
  • View, edit, or print pictures
    • Our computers have multi card readers that will read most memory card types directly
    • HP LaserJet 2840 Color printer prints brilliant color photos
    • Photo paper available for a fee or bring your own
  • Burn a CD or DVD
  • Scan documents or photos

If you need to save your work please be sure and bring your own floppy disc or memory stick.
